Classalogs ("we", "us") helps students study for their specific classes and curricula. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We aim to collect as little as possible.

2. Information We Store

Account details you provide — such as your display name and email address — so we can personalize your experience.

Study data you create in the app — saved classes, generated study sets, preferences, and usage counts — so your progress is available when you return.

Most of this data is currently stored locally in your browser. Clearing your browser storage, or using "Clear study history" or "Delete account" in Settings, removes it.

3. AI Features

When you use AI features (the tutor chat, study-guide, flashcard, and question generators), the text — and any image you upload — is sent to our AI provider to generate a response.

We send only what is needed to answer your request. We do not use your prompts to train our own models.

4. How We Use Your Information

To provide and improve the service, personalize your study experience, remember your preferences and plan, and keep the app secure and reliable.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Your Choices

You can edit your profile, change your password, download a copy of your data, clear your study history, or delete your account entirely from the Settings page.

You can also switch between light and dark mode at any time.

6. Children’s Privacy

Classalogs is intended for students. If you are under the age required by your local law to consent to online services, please use the app with the involvement of a parent, guardian, or school.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of Classalogs after changes take effect means you accept the revised policy.
