Terms of Service
Effective: July 28, 2026 · Last updated: July 28, 2026
1. Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Classalogs ("Classalogs", "we", "us", or "our") governing your access to and use of the Classalogs website and services (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
Classalogs provides AI-assisted study tools — including study guides, flashcards, practice questions, quizzes, and a tutor chat — tailored to specific classes, curricula, and standardized tests. Features and availability may change over time.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Classalogs. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent, guardian, or school. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.
4. Your Account
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your password confidential, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. You may not choose a display name that is offensive or that impersonates another person.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: misuse, disrupt, or overload the Service, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to it or its systems; use automated means to scrape, harvest, or bulk-access content; resell or redistribute the Service or its AI outputs as your own product; upload unlawful, infringing, harmful, or offensive content; or use the Service to violate any law or the rights of others.
You are responsible for using AI-generated study materials honestly and in accordance with your school’s or exam board’s academic-integrity rules. Classalogs is a study aid and is not intended to help you cheat.
6. AI-Generated Content and No Professional Advice
AI features can and do make mistakes. Study guides, tutor answers, flashcards, and practice questions may contain errors or omissions and should not be treated as authoritative or as a substitute for your official course materials, teacher, or exam board.
Always verify important information against primary sources. The Service does not provide professional, academic, legal, medical, or financial advice, and it does not guarantee any grade, score, admission, or other outcome.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service — including its software, design, branding, logo, and original content — is owned by Classalogs and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your own studies.
Content you create or submit remains yours. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely to operate and provide the Service to you (for example, sending your prompt to our AI provider to generate a response).
8. Plans, Billing, and Refunds
Classalogs currently offers a Free plan and may offer paid plans (such as Pro and Scholar) with additional features and higher limits. Where a paid plan is shown as "coming soon" or as a demonstration, no charge is made and no purchase is implied.
If and when paid subscriptions are enabled, they are billed in advance through our payment processor (Stripe) on the cycle you select and renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel anytime from your account; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Prices, plans, and limits may change with reasonable notice.
9. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on and links to third-party services (such as Google sign-in and our AI, hosting, and payment providers) and to official exam-board resources. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third parties, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that AI outputs will be accurate.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Classalogs and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, grades, opportunities, or profits, arising from or related to your use of the Service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or US $50.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Classalogs from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.
13. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — will survive.
14. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to their jurisdiction, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective" date above. Your continued use of Classalogs after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
